Mosmart USA

Hugh stands as a founding member of Hooters in the United States. His journey led to the initiation of Outback Steakhouses with Chris Sullivan, a venture that eventually secured a listing on Nasdaq. As of now, he holds the positions of President and founder of Metro foods, spearheading more than 50 franchises across the USA with rapid expansion. Notably, Hugh was instrumental in the formation of the Old Memorial Golf Club and enjoys strong associations with key figures in the Golf world, fostering both professional ties and friendships.

His involvement with Mosmart dates back to its inception, notably playing a pivotal role in introducing the IP to John Preston at MIT. Currently, Hugh is a partner in Mosmart's strategic initiative to implement M3T across numerous golf courses throughout North America. Additionally, he will play a crucial role in introducing and implementing Mosmart's Agricultural Products across the USA.

Lorenso Wessels is a water treatment and chemistry specialist. His main skill set is to find solutions that aim to reduce the negative impact of all sorts of pollution in soil and the atmosphere. He specializes in soil microbiology and emissions. “By maximizing microbiology in soil, the application of synthetic fertilizers needed,  are greatly reduced as available dairy effluent waste are now being industrialised and transformed with M3t to benefit soil  as a nutrient replacement. Processing wastewater in a sustainable manner reduces greenhouse gasses.”

Alex Gregg has been a water treatment specialist for seven years, with a focus in the dairy industry. His technical expertise and extensive experience give him the edge in water treatment solutions. Alex has extensive experience dealing with the unique challenges posed by dairy effluent. These innovative techniques and solutions have saved countless dairy farms money while improving water and pasture quality. Alex is at the forefront of implementing M3T as a disruptive technology in the New Zealand dairy industry and spearheading the dramatic reduction of nitrate application in milk production.

With over 30 years of extensive experience in managing and transforming businesses across Africa and the UAE, Brand de Villiers stands as a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with a remarkable track record. His journey started at PricewaterhouseCoopers before taking on key roles at Vodacom, including Financial Manager Treasury and CFO at Vodacom Sport & Entertainment. He then led Sail Group/Marc Group as Group CEO and later headed the Premier Soccer League (SA) as CEO. Brand's strategic prowess shone during his tenure at Multichoice Africa Holdings as CEO and COO of Multichoice Group. Since 2022, he has ventured into entrepreneurship and continues to drive success by skillfully turning around companies, forging successful international teams, and navigating complex multinational landscapes.

Andrew is a Director of Mosmart UK and brings a wealth of experience in agriculture and commerce to the Company. The Company’s fire testing grounds are located at Andrew’s farm in Essex, where Andrew’s family have been farming for generations. Having completed three years at agricultural college, Andrew worked in several diverse farming businesses before returning to the family business in 2001. The Nott family are a large farming family from the Essex/Suffolk borders and under Andrew’s careful stewardship the farming operation at Maplestead Hall has increased to over 2,500 acres and includes many diversification projects. These projects include a wild bird food business that grows, markets and retails bird food under the brand Mapleseeds, and a newly formed Christmas tree business selling to both the wholesale and retail markets. Andrew is actively involved in the launch of Mosmart products in both the agricultural and fire sectors and project manages the trial processes for the agricultural products.

Samantha is the Financial Controller for Mosmart UK, working closely with the Managing Directors and Board to implement the business strategy and manage the budget. In this critical role, Samantha brings energy, focus and efficiency to the management team, facilitating the Board to execute the Company’s business plan. Samantha carried out her ACCA and AAT training at a large regional accountancy firm in Norfolk. Following different roles in accountancy practices in Norfolk, Sam decided to move into industry and took on the role of Financial Controller of a manufacturer of bespoke top-end furniture for superyachts and luxury interiors. Following maternity leave, Samantha tutored ACCA and AAT qualifications at a local college before taking the role of Financial Controller at Maplestead Farm. Samantha was responsible for the financial aspects of the business’s diversification into online retail and other sustainability and non-farming ventures.

Fraser Donaldson

Fraser is a Director of Mosmart UK and one of the founding shareholders. Fraser discovered the initial IP opportunity behind the products and began to build the Board and launch the Business on the back of this. Fraser is the Owner and Director of Easigrass Essex, an artificial grass company. For the last five years, Fraser achieved the highest growth in the Easigrass franchise network and received awards from the British Association of Landscape Industries. Before owning Easigrass Essex, Fraser was a Director of FAD Dining Rooms Ltd. which held interests in various entertainment venues and businesses. These ventures included the Crystal Nightclub and Beach Clubs based in London, St Tropez and Cannes. Fraser was the Operations Director at DSTRKT Restaurant, Lounge and Nightclub from its conception, an award-winning venue in the heart of London. More recently Fraser was a director at the hugely successful Wright Bar Group, in charge of a £40m turnover business and overseeing the Company’s award-winning presence at Dublin Airport.

Leading Strategic Partnership Development since 2022, Larry crafts businesses harnessing Mosmart's Intellectual Property for niche markets and regions. Notably, he partnered with Gary Player/Jack Nicklaus Enterprise, delivering tailored products to the South African and USA Golfing industry. He leads a joint venture expanding Mosmart's presence across Mauritius and nearby Indian Ocean Islands. As Co-founder and CEO of Optimized Routing Solutions (South Africa) since 2006, he drives a telecom voice services company that terminated over 2 billion calls across 12 African countries for major global operators.

Dieter has an extensive engineering background and has managed several global projects across a wide range of Industries and has overseen several major projects on both national as well as international levels in The Netherlands, Australia, Oman, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Mozambique and Madagascar. Hamad Kalkaba Malboum

Hamad is the current President of the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) since 2003. As a former athlete, he was part of Cameroon's 4 × 100 metres relay team from 1970 to 1974, excelling in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and long jump. Beyond his athletic career, he's been instrumental in establishing national sports federations, including baseball, softball, handball, and athletics in Cameroon. Hamad's leadership extends to the International Military Sports Council (CISM) from 2010 to 2014, and he's been heading both the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSC) and CAA since 2001 and 2003 respectively.

Clive’s core capability is creative & strategic sponsorship programme development, sponsorship sales, sponsorship marketing, media planning, sponsorship servicing and delivery and post event reporting. It is on this basis that he has built his credibility and been appointed to handle many of South Africa’s most significant sponsorship programmes, from the creative concept stage to the final delivery of the sponsorship rights and the event. Clive is a pioneer in the industry, was a founder of the Raptor Awards for Sponsorship, was the Chairman of the Sponsorship Marketing Excellence Awards and is currently the Chairman of the Marketing Achievement Awards Sponsorship Awards committee. He has also won many awards himself.

Brett attended Queens College in Queenstown South Africa. He served three years in the South African Defence Force and qualified as a Navy Diver. Brett got promoted to the special forces where he got promoted to the Rank of Lieutenant. He specialised in underwater explosives and Special-Forces Training.  Brett graduated from UCT in 1988 B-Com (Honours). He articled through Coopers & Lybrand, in Port Elizabeth and completed his articles in 1989.

Brett has over 30 years’ experience in business and is very passionate about water and being at the forefront of opportunities for growth.  Mr Harris is a director of Spliteq for the past four years and believes that all technologies that impact and/or improve water will have a tremendous impact on the future of humankind.

Kofi Oduro Fordwor

Kofi holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Mining Engineering. He began his career at Gencor in 1992, moving on to Genbel Investment Bank. He became a Non-Executive Director for Real Africa Holdings (RAH) and Real Africa Investments (RAI), contributing to RAI's listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Joining the Real Africa Group in 1996, he focused on enhancing its financial investment profile. In 2003, Kofi co-founded H S Design and Manufacture (China) Pty Limited, introducing safety solutions to China's coal mining. Since 2015, he has been the Executive Chairman of Sovereign Africa Ghana Limited, overseeing the transformation of Kumasi Racecourse. He also contributed insights to a paper on private sector empowerment for Ghana's economic growth prior to the 2016 National Elections.
